ALL - Sample Opening - Hell Night

Hell Night (Tom DeSimone, 1981)
Budget: $2.5m
No remake or sequel

  • Female scream right at the beginning foreshadows murder will happen and helps anchor the genre of the film
  • Lots of props such as red horns to help signify the genre
  • Hair + clothes signify time period (80's hair styles)
  • Diagetic and non-diagetic sounds throughout the opening however don't see a cd player so cannot be anchored
  •  Bright red dress signifies blood, romance, death
